Brendan Horning is a seasoned financial executive and Chartered Accountant (CA) with a deep background in real estate, corporate finance, and strategic advisory. As a Partner and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of HarbourTown Group, Brendan plays a critical role in shaping the financial strategy, structuring complex transactions, and ensuring the long-term financial health of the firm.

Before joining HarbourTown full-time in March 2024, Brendan was the CFO of Synergy CHC, where he was instrumental in guiding the company from a private enterprise to a publicly traded entity. Simultaneously, he ran his own accounting practice, Brendan Horning and Company, where he spent over a decade advising entrepreneurs, developers, and investors on corporate finance, taxation, and business strategy.

During this time, Brendan worked closely with HarbourTown’s leadership, serving as a trusted advisor to Blake Wilson and playing a key role in structuring financial strategies for the company’s rapid expansion. His expertise in navigating complex financial structures, optimizing tax efficiency, and securing capital made his transition from advisor to full-time partner and CFO a natural evolution.

At HarbourTown, Brendan oversees financial strategy and operations across all divisions, including TMG HarbourTown Mortgage, HarbourTown Development Management, HarbourTown Construction, HarbourTown Capital, and Advisory & Consulting. He leads financial reporting, capital allocation, risk management, and investor relations, working closely with partners and lenders to support HarbourTown’s growing portfolio.
