Role Overview

As a Mortgage Broker at TMG HarbourTown Mortgages, you will play a vital role in helping clients navigate the complex process of obtaining mortgages. Reporting to the President or Broker Development Manager, you will work closely with clients to understand their financial needs and guide them through the mortgage application process. Your primary objective will be to secure suitable mortgage solutions that meet the individual requirements and financial goals of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Client Consultation: Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their financial situation, goals, and preferences.

Mortgage Research: Research and analyze various mortgage products and options available in the market to identify suitable solutions for clients.

Application Assistance: Assist clients in completing mortgage applications accurately and efficiently, ensuring all necessary documentation is provided.

Negotiation: Negotiate mortgage terms and conditions with lenders on behalf of clients to secure favorable rates and terms.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies throughout the mortgage application process.

Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders involved in the mortgage process.

Market Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and changes in mortgage regulations to provide informed advice to clients.

Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have throughout the mortgage process.

Qualification Requirements

  • Must be licensed as a Mortgage Broker in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Previous experience in mortgage brokering or related financial services role is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field is advantageous.
    Proficiency in relevant software applications and tools used in mortgage brokerage.

Working Conditions

  • Flexibility work environment.
  • Regular business hours, with occasional evening or weekend appointments as required.
  • Travel may be required to meet with clients or attend industry events.
